191111-N-ZZ999-0964 PHILIPPINE SEA (Nov. 11, 2019) The Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS Milius (DDG 69), front, and the Royal Canadian Navy Halifax-class frigate HMCS Ottawa (FFH 341) are underway in formation during Annual Exercise (ANNUALEX) 19. ANNUALEX 19 is an annual, bilateral exercise which further develops coordination and interoperability of the premier alliance between the U.S. Navy and Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force.
