191111-N-CL550-0936 PHILIPPINE SEA (Nov. 11, 2019) The Royal Australian Navy Anzac-class frigate HMAS Parramatta (FFH 154), right, and a Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force destroyer JS Teruzuki (DD 116), front left, and the underway replenishment oiler USNS Pecos (T-AO 197) are underway in formation during Annual Exercise (ANNUALEX) 19. Destroyer Squadron (DESRON) 15 is currently participating in ANNUALEX 19, an annual, bilateral exercise which further develops coordination and interoperability of the premier alliance between the U.S. Navy and JMSDF.
