191107-N-WA745-1036 POHNPEI, Federated States of Micronesia (Nov. 7, 2019) The students of Pehleng Elementary School and U.S. Navy Seabees deployed with Naval Mobile Construction Battalion (NMCB) 5 Detail Pohnpei pose for a photograph in front of the main schoolhouse during the opening ceremony for Pehleng Elementary School’s renovations. U.S. Navy Seabees are renovating four of the Pehleng Elementary School buildings to give the students a clean and safe environment to continue their education. NMCB-5 is deployed across the Indo-Pacific region conducting high-quality construction to support U.S. and partner nations to strengthen partnerships, deter aggression, and enable expeditionary logistics and naval power projection.
