191105-N-LQ653-0337 PACIFIC OCEAN (Nov. 1, 2019) Aviation Ordnanceman 1st Class Joseph Tonna, assigned to the "Merlins" of Helicopter Sea Combat Squadron (HSC) 3, fires a .50 caliber machine gun from an MH-60S Sea Hawk helicopter while participating in a weapons qualification exercise off the coast of southern California. HSC-3 is the Navy's west coast MH-60S fleet replacement squadron, responsible for training pilots and aircrewmen and providing the most capable warfighters to the fleet.
