191028-N-LW757-1031 SAN DIEGO (Oct. 28, 2019) Hospitalman Shelby Cunningham, an optician assigned to Naval Health Clinic, Marine Corps Recruit Depot San Diego, participates in a hospital corpsman skills basic (HMSB) recertification clinic at Naval Medical Center San Diego (NMCSD), Oct. 28. HMSB is designed to refresh and recertify hospital corpsman to perform basic skills such as inserting an IV, assessing patients, administering medication and drawing blood.
