(Oct. 22, 2019) Airman Anthony Tarry, from Tacoma, Washington, and Aviation Boatswain's Mate (Handling) 3rd Class Parker Brisby, from Portland, assigned to the crash and salvage division aboard the aircraft carrier USS Gerald R. Ford (CVN 78), carry a simulated casualty to safety during a general quarters training evolution aboard the ship. Gerald R. Ford conducted the general quarters and abandon ship training evolutions to better prepare the ship and crew in case of a real life casualty and in preparation for the crew getting underway.
