191022-N-NO627-1031 NEWPORT NEWS, Va. (Oct. 22, 2019) Sailors assigned to USS Gerald R. Ford (CVN 78) fill out paperwork prior to receiving a flu shot in the ship's hangar bay. Gerald R. Ford's medical department is vaccinating the entire crew against the flu virus in order to ensure the crew remains medically ready as the ship prepares to go out to sea.
