191018-N-AW818-035 NAVAL SUPPORT FACILITY REDZIKOWO, Poland (Oct. 18, 2019) Capt. Jon Grant, commander of NSF Redzikowo hosted Vice Adm. Mary Jackson, commander of Navy Installations Command, for a tour during her first visit to Naval Support Facility (NSF) Redzikowo and the Aegis Ashore Missile Defense System (AAMDS) site in Poland, Fri., Oct. 18, 2019. The future housing and dining facilities are scheduled to be completed in late 2020, and will be home to approximately 200 Sailors who will work on the installation and at AAMDS. Once construction is completed, the Aegis Ashore site in Poland will expand a defensive capability that protects NATO European territories, populations and forces against ballistic missiles launched from outside the Euro-Atlantic region.
