Bonzo, a native of Marikina, Philippines, is an en route care nurse assigned to 3rd Medical Battalion, 3rd Marine Logistics Group. KAMANDAG 3 is a Philippine-led, bilateral exercise with participation from Japan. KAMANDAG is an acronym for the Filipino phrase “Kaagapay Ng Mga Manirigma Ng Dagat,” which translates to “Cooperation of the Warriors of the Sea,” highlighting the partnerships between the U.S. and Philippine militaries.
