191009-N-TP877-1003 SAN FRANCISCO (Oct. 9, 2019) Students from the Soledad High School Navy Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps (NJROTC) in Salinas, Calif., prepare to board the Ticonderoga-class guided missile cruiser USS Princeton (CG 59) for a tour of the ship during San Francisco Fleet Week 2019 (SFFW). SFFW provides an opportunity for the Marine Corps and Navy to demonstrate the quality of personnel to the citizens of San Francisco and surrounding areas. Through fleet weeks, the military gains the opportunity to educate area leaders and the general public about the Marine Corps and Navy.
