(Sept. 26, 2019) Norwegian Prime Minister Erna Solberg meets Royal Norwegian Air Force Pilots at Patrol Squadron (VP) 30 before boarding a P-8A Poseidon for a tour at Naval Air Station Jacksonville, Sept. 26. Solberg visited the squadron with Secretary of the Navy Richard V. Spencer as the Royal Norwegian Air Force is preparing for its transition from the P-3C Orion aircraft to the P-8A Poseidon. The U.S. maintains a long and close relationship with Norway on defense and security cooperation. Military personnel exchange programs such as the Poseidon training Norwegian pilots and crew receive here strengthen this partnership.
