190920-N-RP442-0151 PACIFIC OCEAN (Sept. 20, 2019) A landing craft, air cushion (LCAC) attached to Assault Craft Unit (ACU) 5, transits Kuluk Bay while conducting wet well operations with the San Antonio-class amphibious transport dock ship USS Somerset (LPD 25) during Arctic Expeditionary Capabilities Exercise (AECE) 2019. Approximately 3,000 U.S. Navy and Marine Corps personnel participate in AECE 2019, a joint training exercise that tests expeditionary logistical capabilities in the Arctic region and prepares joint forces to respond to crises across the Indo-Pacific.
