(Sept. 17, 2019) The Military Sealift Command (MSC) tanker ship SS Petersburg (T-AOT 9101) lists 10 degrees on its starboard side as the ship launches its single anchor leg mooring system during Arctic Expeditionary Capabilities Exercise (AECE) 2019. Approximately 3,000 U.S. Navy and Marine Corps personnel participate in AECE 2019, a joint training exercise that tests expeditionary logistical capabilities in the Arctic and Southern California regions and prepares joint forces to respond to crises across the Indo-Pacific.
