190909-N-TP834-1055 SAIPAN HARBOR, Saipan (Sept. 9, 2019) Aviation Boatswain�s Mate (Handling) 1st Class David Sweza, from Dumas, Arkansas, and Boatswain�s Mate 2nd Class Estaban Reyes-Feliz, from Lincoln Park, Michigan, both assigned to Navy Cargo Handling Battalion (NCHB) 1, stow gear while conducting an inventory of their hatch box aboard the Military Sealift Command maritime prepositioning force container, roll-on/roll off and mobile landing platform ship USNS Dahl (T-AKR 312) during a training evolution. NCHB-1, Detachment Guam, assigned to Commander, Task Force 75, is the Navy�s only active duty cargo handling battalion. They are a rapidly deployable unit of the Navy Expeditionary Combat Command, capable of loading and discharging ships and aircraft in all-climatic and threat conditions.
