190909-N-PI330-0058 ATLANTIC OCEAN (Sept. 9, 2019) The Ticonderoga-class guided-missile cruiser USS San Jacinto (CG 56), the Royal Netherlands Navy De Zeven Provincien-class frigate HMNLS De Ruyter (F 804), the Arleigh-Burke-class guided-missile destroyers USS Stout (DDG 55) and USS James E. Williams (DDG 95) and USS Vella Gulf (CG 72) move in a formation scheme for live-fire exercises during a Surface Warfare Advanced Tactical Training (SWATT) exercise with other U.S. Navy warships. Surface warships assigned to the Eisenhower Carrier Strike Group are participating in the exercise in the Atlantic Ocean, off the coast of Virginia, to maintain readiness, proficiency and lethality.
