190901-M-CQ544-0009 LOS ANGELES (Sept. 1, 2019) U.S. Marine LCpl. Austin Bodine, a military working dog handler, with 1st Law Enforcement Battalion, 1 Marine Information Group, acts as an aggressor to demonstrate the duties of military working dogs during Los Angeles Fleet Week 2019. Military working dogs are used as a means to stop an aggressor without the use of deadly force. Static displays give the Marine Corps the opportunity to show the Navy-Marine Corps relationship with the American people and to showcase the ability to serve as an expeditionary force in readiness.
