190830-N-QI061-2060 MAYPORT, Fla. (Aug. 30, 2019) The Freedom-variant littoral combat ship USS Billings (LCS 15) gets underway from Naval Station Mayport. Commander, U.S. 4th Fleet ordered all U.S. Navy ships homeported at Naval Station Mayport to sortie ahead of Hurricane Dorian. Ships got underway from Naval Station Mayport as Hurricane Dorian is forecast to bring high winds and heavy rain to the East Coast.
