190815-N-BM428-0016 THEOULE-SUR-MER, France (Aug. 15, 2019) Sailors stationed aboard the Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS Donald Cook (DDG 75) participate in a Catholic Mass to commemorate Operation Dragoon in Theoule-Sur-Mer, France, Aug. 15, 2019. Donald Cook is in port to participate in the commemoration 75th Anniversary of Operation Dragoon, the operation which led to the liberation of Southern France by Allied Forces. Donald Cook, forward deployed to Rota, Spain, is on its ninth patrol in the U.S. 6th fleet area of operations in support of U.S. national security interests in Europe and Africa.
