190805-N-PL543-1263 SOUTH CHINA SEA (Aug. 5, 2019) Sailors assigned to air department run to retrieve a holdback bar following the launch of an F/A-18E Super Hornet assigned to Strike Fighter Squadron (VFA) 195 aboard the Navy’s forward-deployed aircraft carrier USS Ronald Reagan (CVN 76). The holdback bar is used to hold back the aircraft prior to its intended launch time.
