ATLANTIC OCEAN (July 24, 2019) A Scan Eagle unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) is launched from a Mark 4 launcher on the flight deck of the expeditionary fast transport vessel USNS Spearhead (T-EPF 1). The Scan Eagle unmanned aerial system provides improved detection and monitoring to support counter-narcotics missions in the Caribbean and eastern Pacific.
