190718-N-CL027-1009 CORAL SEA (July 18, 2019) Sailors fight a simulated aircraft fire in the hangar bay aboard the Navy’s forward-deployed aircraft carrier USS Ronald Reagan (CVN 76) during a general quarters drill as part of Talisman Sabre 2019. General quarters drills give Sailors the opportunity to battle simulated fire, flooding and personnel casualties during realistic scenarios. Talisman Sabre 2019 illustrates the closeness of the Australian and U.S. alliance and the strength of the military-to-military relationship. This is the eighth iteration of this exercise.
