190717-N-RF825-1134 CORAL SEA (July 17, 2019) Australian Deputy Prime Minister Michael McCormack, U.S. Consul General Sharon Hudson Dean, Chief of the Royal Australian Navy Vice Adm. Michael Noonan and other distinguished visitors tour flight deck control aboard the Navy’s forward-deployed aircraft carrier USS Ronald Reagan (CVN 76) during Talisman Sabre 2019. McCormack, Dean, and Noonan were among a group of dignitaries who were given a tour of the hangar bay and flight deck control after observing flight operations. Talisman Sabre 2019 illustrates the closeness of the Australian and U.S. alliance and the strength of the military-to-military relationship. This is the eighth iteration of this exercise.
