190717-N-RF825-1011 CORAL SEA (July 17, 2019) Distinguished visitors watch flight operations from the flight deck aboard the Navy’s forward-deployed aircraft carrier USS Ronald Reagan (CVN 76) during Talisman Sabre 2019. The group of dignitaries included Australian Deputy Prime Minister Michael McCormack, U.S. Consul General Sharon Hudson Dean and Chief of the Australian Navy Vice Adm. Michael Noonan, who were given a tour of the hangar bay and flight deck control after observing flight operations. Talisman Sabre 2019 illustrates the closeness of the Australian and U.S. alliance and the strength of the military-to-military relationship. This is the eighth iteration of this exercise.
