190707-N-DX072-1128 CORAL SEA (July 7, 2019) A UH-1Y Huey helicopter assigned to the Dragons of Marine Medium Tiltrotor Squadron (VMM) 265 (Reinforced), 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU), and two MH-60S Sea Hawk helicopters assigned to the Island Knights of Helicopter Sea Combat Squadron (HSC) 25 hover near the amphibious dock landing ship USS Ashland (LSD 48) during a visit, board, search and seizure (VBSS) drill with the amphibious transport dock ship USS Green Bay (LPD 20). Green Bay and Ashland, part of the Wasp Amphibious Ready Group, with embarked 31st MEU, are operating in the Indo-Pacific region to enhance interoperability with partners and serve as a ready-response force for any type of contingency, while simultaneously providing a flexible and lethal crisis response force ready to perform a wide range of military operations.
