190702-N-NU281-1059 SOUTH PACIFIC OCEAN (July 2, 2019) An MH-60R Sea Hawk, assigned to the "Easyriders" of Helicopter Maritime Strike Squadron (HSM) 37 prepares to land on the flight deck of the Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS Michael Murphy (DDG 112) as part of exercises conducted during UNITAS LX. Michael Murphy is participating in UNITAS LX in Valparaiso, Chile, from June 24-July 3. UNITAS, Latin for "unity," is the world's longest-running multinational maritime exercise. Conceived in 1959 and first executed in 1960, UNITAS is a demonstration of U.S. commitment to the region and the strong relationships forged between our partner nations and their militaries.
