Garrett States, an infantry assault Marine with Kilo Company, Battalion Landing Team 3/5, 11th Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU), maneuvers up a ladder well during visit, board, search and seizure training aboard the San Antonio-class amphibious transport dock ship USS John P. Murtha (LPD 26).
