190624-N-QI093-1123 ENGLISH CHANNEL (June 23, 2019) Damage Controlman 3rd Class Armando Vargas, assigned to the U.S. Coast Guard Tall Ship Eagle (WIX 327), welds a mounting bracket for the ship's reverse osmosis pump in the ship's damage control workshop. Eagle is a tall ship used as a training platform for future Coast Guard Academy officers as well as vessel for establishing and maintaining domestic and international relationships.
