190612-N-QI061-0280 STARKE, Fla., (June 12, 2019) Gunner’s Mate 1st Class Eric Stabenow, from Eau Claire, Wis., assigned to the Freedom-class littoral combat ship USS Indianapolis (LCS 17), fires a M2A1.50-caliber machine gun during a weapons exercise at Camp Blanding Joint Training Center in Starke, Fla. The littoral combat ship is a highly maneuverable, lethal and adaptable ship designed to support focused mine countermeasures, anti-submarine warfare, and surface warfare missions.
