190607-N-DX072-1001 PHILIPPINE SEA (June 7, 2019) The Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force (JMSDF) Hyūga-class helicopter destroyer JS Ise (DDH 182) and the JMSDF Ōsumi-class amphibious transport dock ship JS Kunisaki (LST 4003) transit the Philippine Sea while the Military Sealift Command dry cargo and ammunition ship USNS Amelia Earhart (T-AKE 6) conducts a replenishment-at-sea with the amphibious transport dock ship USS Green Bay (LPD 20) and the amphibious dock landing ship USS Ashland (LSD 48). Green Bay is underway conducting routine operations as a part of the Wasp Amphibious Ready Group (ARG) in the U.S. 7th Fleet area of operations.
