190604-N-RM689-1184 SATTAHIP NAVAL BASE, Thailand (June 4, 2019) Sailors assigned to Explosive Ordnance Disposal Mobile Unit (EODMU) 5 and the Royal Thai Navy Diver and Explosive Ordnance Disposal Center transport a dive boat after conducting a waterborne improvised explosive device knowledge exchange during Cooperation Afloat Readiness and Training (CARAT) Thailand 2019. This year marks the 25th iteration of CARAT, a multinational exercise series designed to enhance U.S. and partner navies' abilities to operate together in response to traditional and non-traditional maritime security challenges in the Indo-Pacific region.
