190508-N-RM689-1282 SANTA RITA, Guam (May 14, 2019) A Mark VI patrol boat attached to Coastal Riverine Squadron (CRS) 2 trails the U.S. Coast Guard Island-class patrol boat USCGC Kiska (WPB 1336) during a ship towing training evolution near Apra Harbor. CRS-2, assigned to Coastal Riverine Group 1, Detachment Guam, is capable of conducting maritime security operations across the full spectrum of naval, joint and combined operations. Further, it provides additional capabilities of port security, embarked security and theater security cooperation around the U.S. 7th Fleet of operations.
