(April 25, 2019) An explosive ordnance disposal (EOD) technician assigned to EOD Mobile Unit 12, discusses Android Tactical Aid Kit (ATAK) operations with the Navy Expeditionary Combat Enterprise (NECE) Board of Directors (BOD) during a visit to EOD Training and Evaluation Unit 2 aboard Joint Expeditionary Base Little Creek-Fort Story. ATAK, used for dismounted situational awareness and friendly forces tracking, provides real-time information dissemination to the warfighter. NECE BOD, chaired by Rear Adm.
