(April 20th, 2019) Quartermaster 1st Class Faith Ocaba leads her division of recruits in a dynamic warm-up prior to participating in a 1.5-mile run in observance of Sexual Assault Awareness and Prevention Month (SAAPM) at Recruit Training Command (RTC). More than 4,000 recruits from 39 divisions participated in the first ever run held spotlighting the work of the Sexual Assault Prevention and Response Program (SAPR) on RTC. The 2019 SAAPM theme is “Protecting Our People Protects Our Mission.” More than 35,000 recruits train annually at the Navy's only boot camp.
