190419-N-WO291-806 KAPINGAMARANGI ATOLL, Micronesia (April 19, 2019) Builder 2nd Class Jason Fox, Builder 2nd Class John Williams and Equipment Operator 3rd Class Jacob Mooney collect hydrographic survey data at Kapingamarangi Atoll, Federated States of Micronesia (FSM) as part of the maritime infrastructure assessments during Pacific Partnership 2019 (PP19). UCT 2 partnered with the FSM National Maritime Surveillance Police, the Australian Pacific Patrol Boat Program advisors and the Pohnpei Port Authority (PPA) to conduct assessments at Kapingamarangi that will increase FSMs ability to enforce security across it's vast maritime borders and exclusive economic zone. Pacific Partnership, now in its 14th iteration, is the largest annual multinational humanitarian assistance and disaster relief preparedness mission conducted in the Indo-Pacific.
