190418-N-UI104-0317 PHILIPPINE SEA (April 18, 2019) The Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS Preble (DDG 88) and the Royal Australian Navy Adelaide-class guided-missile frigate HMAS Melbourne (FFG 05) transit in formation during a cooperative deployment. Preble and Melbourne are participating in a cooperative deployment in order to improve on maritime capabilities between partners. Preble is deployed to the U.S 7th Fleet area of operations in support of security and stability in the Indo-Pacific region.
