(April 15, 2019) Intelligence Specialist 2nd Class Bea Vang, from Saint Paul, Minnesota, and Mineman 3rd Class Jeremey Woods, from Amity, Pennsylvania, both Sailors assigned to the Freedom-class littoral combat ship USS Indianapolis (LCS 17), erect metal type shoring while being observed by a damage control training team chief aboard the training ship USS Milwakee (LCS 5). The littoral combat ship is a highly maneuverable, lethal and adaptable ship designed to support focused mine countermeasures, anti-submarine warfare, and surface warfare missions.
