190413-N-DS741-0314 STRAIT OF GIBRALTAR (April 13, 2019) Chief Quartermaster Jason Gibson, from Marietta, Ga., assigned to navigation department aboard the Ticonderoga-class guided-missile cruiser USS Leyte Gulf (CG 55), stands watch in the bridge of the ship while transiting the Strait of Gibraltar. Leyte Gulf is underway as part of the Abraham Lincoln Carrier Strike Group deployment in support of maritime security cooperation efforts in the U.S. 5th, 6th and 7th Fleet areas of responsibility.
