Ray discussed his role planning the first Forward Deployed Naval Forces Surface Warfare Advanced Tactical Training (SWATT) exercise in the U.S. 7th Fleet. SWATT exercises transition Surface Force readiness into lethality by bringing warfare commanders, ships, and crews together to exercise advanced tactics at sea.
