Matthew Clark, a warfare tactics instructor assigned to Naval Surface and Mine Warfighting Development Center, second from right, speaks to students in the San Diego State University ROTC during a Blessing Combat Leadership Panel in the auditorium of the Parma Payne Goodall Alumni Center at San Diego State University. The event brought together active duty officers from different branches of the armed services to share their military experiences with San Diego State University students and ROTC cadets. The Navy established Naval Surface and Mine Warfighting Development Center as one of five warfighting development centers in 2015 to align and synchronize the Fleet's warfighting efforts across the surface, undersea, air, information, and expeditionary domains.
