190312-N-MD802-1081 CAMP PENDLETON, Calif. (March 12, 2019) Sailors assigned to Construction Battalion Maintenance Unit 303 (CMBU-303) and Expeditionary Medical Force Alpha offload tarps to be used in the emergency medical facility on Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton, California as part of Exercise Pacific Blitz 2019 (PacBlitz19). CBMU-303 provides camp construction and base operating support for Navy Expeditionary Force higher headquarters and expeditionary medical facilities, and provides embarkation support to Naval Construction Force movement control centers. PacBlitz19 provides relevant training that replicates a realistic maritime threat environment designed to improve naval amphibious core competencies necessary for effective, global crisis response expected of the Navy and Marine Corps.
