190312-N-GQ656-709
190312-N-GQ656-709 CHARLESTON, S.C. (March 12, 2019) Rear Adm. Daniel “Dano” Fillion, from Goose Creek, S.C., director of the Manpower Account Transition Office, Bureau of Naval Personnel, joins Citadel Baseball Radio after throwing out the first pitch during a college baseball game between The Citadel and the University of South Carolina. Fillion was in the greater Charleston area as part of Navy Week Charleston and had the opportunity to meet with several area leaders and businesses in addition to touring his alma mater high school and college. Navy Weeks serve as the U.S. Navy's principal outreach effort into areas of the country that lack a significant Navy presence, helping Americans understand that their Navy is deployed around the world, around the clock, ready to defend America at all times.
