Ford (CVN 78), operates the advanced weapons elevator upper stage number 3. Advanced weapons elevator number 3 was accepted by the ship on Feb. 14, marking the second elevator accepted by Gerald R. Ford. the ship is undergoing its post-shakedown availability at Huntington Ingalls Industries-Newport News Shipbuilding.
