(March 1, 2019) Seabees assigned to Naval Mobile Construction Battalion (NMCB) 25 and Marines assigned to I Marine Expeditionary Force (IMEF) smooth freshly laid cement at the airport on Catalina Island off the coast of California. Seabees and Marines are working together to reconstruct the runway at the airport as part of an innovative readiness training opportunity to benefit the service members and the community, a project expected to be completed spring 2019.
