It is the largest Asia-Pacific military exercise held each year, and is among the largest multinational military exercise in which the United States participates. The main operation of the day was underwater welding. The two partner nations were trained on how to properly set up the underwater welding equipment and perform practical applications in the dive tank. This training will enhance the capabilities of the Republic of Korea and Royal Thai Navy UCTs for future salvage and underwater welding projects. CDD/A is on the third stop of their six-month deployment, where they are supporting Commander 7th Fleet Operations. (U.S. Navy photo by Hospital Corpsman 1st Class Ryan Kitchens/Released)
