190219-M-YD783-1018 ARABIAN SEA (Feb. 19, 2019) U.S. Marine Corporals Josrdan Hoskison, left, and Jacob Jusczak, right, both data system administrators assigned to the 22nd Marine Expeditionary Unit, set up a Multi-Mission Terminal satellite on the flight deck of the Wasp-class amphibious assault ship USS Kearsarge (LHD 3).The satellite enables secure access to IP broadband networks and the establishment of command post communications from any location. Marines and Sailors with the 22nd MEU and Kearsarge Amphibious Ready Group are deployed to the 5th Fleet area of operations in support of naval operations to ensure maritime stability and security in the Central Region, connecting the Mediterranean and the Pacific through the western Indian Ocean and three strategic choke points.
