190213-N-WO291-569 THAILAND (Feb. 13, 2019) Underwater Construction Team Two’s (UCT) 2 Construction Dive Detachment Alpha (CDDA) are shown partnering with nations in Thailand throughout the 38th annual exercise Cobra Gold. It is the largest Asia-Pacific military exercise held each year, and is among the largest multinational military exercise in which the United States participates. The main operation of the day was teaching how to construct, implement, and safely detonate explosives. This training will enhance the capabilities of the Republic of Korea and Royal Thai Navy UCTs for possible future demolition projects clearing harbors and waterways throughout their countries.
