190213-M-DP650-0515 SATTAHIP, Thailand (Feb. 13, 2019) U.S. Marines conduct an assault amphibious vehicle splash during exercise Cobra Gold at Assault Amphibious Vehicle Battalion, Royal Thai Marine Division, in Sattahip, Thailand, Feb. 13, 2019. The Marines departed the coast of Thailand in order to return to the amphibious transport dock ship USS Green Bay (LPD 20). Exercise Cobra Gold is the largest theater security cooperation exercise in the Indo-Pacific region and is an integral part of the U.S. commitment to strengthen engagement in the region.
