The U.S. Navy and Royal Thai Navy worked together to give back to the local community in efforts to strengthen military-to-military bonds. Exercise Cobra Gold 19 emphasizes coordination on civic action, such as humanitarian assistance and disaster relief events, developing interoperability and unity of action in crisis contingencies.
