Rosemary Mariner is covered by an American flag during a graveside service at New Loyston Cemetery in Maynardville, Tennessee. Mariner was one of the Navy's first female tactical fighter jet pilots and the first female military aviator to achieve command of an operational air squadron, pioneering the way for women in Naval aviation.
