200627-N-KH151-0067 NAVAL STATION ROTA, Spain (June 27, 2020) The Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS Carney (DDG 64) departs Naval Station Rota, Spain, for its homeport shift to Naval Station Mayport in Jacksonville, Florida. Carney first arrived in Rota on Sept. 25, 2015 and was replaced with the Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS Roosevelt (DDG 80) as one of four forward-deployed naval forces (FDNF) in Spain.
